Parents Involved in Education (P.I.E.)

Parents Involved in Education (P.I.E.) raises funds for the Excellence in Education fund. P.I.E. is administered by a board of parents. Through the efforts of many volunteers, P.I.E. makes significant financial contributions each year to fund educational purchases not covered by tuition. The following are some of the items purchased during the past year:

• Headphones for STEM
• Subscriptions to News in Slow Spanish, Gimkit, & Delta Math
• Drum stands for band
• Games for Shield Groups
• New laptops for SPIRE
• Heartsaver cards & replacement gym equipment
• New tools for Physics and Robotics
• Funds toward special events, field trips, and the Close-Up Program

Additionally, P.I.E. facilitates the student lunch program, SCRIP tuition reduction program, Illiana catering, and the P.I.E. Fundraiser Dinner.
